Custom WooCommerce shipping, delivery and click and collect

From $250 AUD

Enquire about this

Custom WooCommerce shipping rules help your checkout offer the right postage, local delivery and collection options for what’s actually in the basket.

That sounds obvious. But when you sell products that travel differently, arrive on different dates or need collecting afterwards, a simple shipping setup can leave customers choosing things you can’t deliver.

WooCommerce split shipping for mixed baskets

Some products can go in the post. Others need local delivery or click and collect. And sometimes the customer wants their smaller items now, with the large arrangement arriving on the day of the event.

I can build rules that separate those groups and let customers choose between eligible options. Where it makes sense, they can combine items with an existing delivery or collection. Where they need separate postage, the checkout can show that option and its cost.

No more balloon arches booked for free delivery to Queensland

Good Cents Arty Party had customers ordering balloon arches from Queensland and somehow selecting free delivery. Janine then had to ring and explain why a shop in Vermont South, Victoria, couldn’t drive their arch up the coast.

After fixing the eligible delivery options, I spotted another problem. An event booking grouped the other products with it. But someone buying cake-making tools might need them before party day.

The custom checkout lets customers send eligible retail items separately by post or group them with their booked balloon collection or delivery.

Checkout separating a booked balloon collection from party supplies sent by Australia Post.
Separate postage: retail supplies can arrive ahead of the booked balloon collection.
Checkout grouping retail party supplies with an existing booked balloon collection.
Combined collection: eligible supplies join the balloon booking, removing the separate postage charge.

From simple shipping rules to hire and multiple destinations

Starting from $250 for straightforward postage, click and collect and cart splitting using agreed rules on an existing WooCommerce shop.

A more complex setup like Good Cents starts around $1,000. That can involve several product types, scheduled delivery and collection, hire returns and multiple locations within one order. The final quote depends on the rules and the combinations we need to test.

If your staff also need separate packing slips and daily preparation lists, I can connect those to the same delivery groups.
